Event Description BUSINESS DAY AT THE CAPITOL
Advance your priorities face-to-face with legislators

Minnesota’s largest business lobbying day is your opportunity to make a difference on your priorities. Join your peers from across the state as we lobby with one voice on the issues that will help strengthen the business environment to improve the lives of all Minnesotans.

The business community made some significant strides in 2011 with a pro-business legislative majority and support from Governor Dayton. Let’s keep the momentum!

This is the premier opportunity to personally advance your priorities. This year’s event comes two days prior to the first committee deadline for bills to be considered for passage this year.

Two sessions are scheduled to accommodate your schedule. Session I begins at 7:30 a.m., and Session II at 9:30 a.m. Click here to view a detailed agenda.

The luncheon program features a candid discussion about the recent redistricting and the 2012 state and presidential elections.

Panelists include:
Ken Martin, chair, Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party
Pat Shortridge, chair, Republican Party of Minnesota

Moderated by:
Joe Swedberg, vice president of legislative affairs, Hormel Foods Corporation
